About the Position & Work Model
Maurya Technologies is seeking an analytical Cyber Security Engineer in Bhopal to safeguard our applications and infrastructure. Experience: 6 Months to 2 Years (Passionate Freshers with CTF / Bug Bounty / VAPT projects are also eligible). Work Model: Hybrid with a mandatory first 3 months Work From Office in Bhopal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
- Work on-site in Bhopal for the first 3 months to conduct physical & cloud security reviews with engineering leads.
- Identify, report, and help remediate vulnerabilities following OWASP Top 10, CWE, and NIST standards.
- Integrate automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, Dependency Scanning) into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Perform cloud security posture reviews across AWS and GCP environments (IAM auditing, security groups, encryption).
- Guide engineering teams on secure coding guidelines, cryptography standards, and compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Qualifications & Requirements
- 6 Months to 2 Years experience (Freshers with strong cybersecurity lab/CTF/Bug Bounty experience are eligible).
- Commitment to work from our Bhopal office for the first 3 months (Mandatory), transitioning to hybrid work thereafter.
- Proficiency with security tools: Burp Suite Professional, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, SonarQube.
- Deep understanding of web security fundamentals (XSS, SQLi, CSRF, SSRF, IDOR, CORS, JWT vulnerabilities).
- Experience in cloud security hardening on AWS/GCP and container security (Docker/Kubernetes).
